Those of you who have visited the Islandscape Photography studio know that I converted to Mac around eighteen months ago and haven't looked back. But whatever you think of Apple, there is no denying that Steve Jobs was a true pioneer, a supreme innovator. Where he and Apple led, others often followed. Very sad to hear of his passing but what a legacy he has left behind. Many will have learned of his death on one of the very machines which he created. For me, it was on my iPhone whilst stormbound in an Oban guesthouse when I should have been on a ferry to Barra.
You may have seen extracts from Steve Jobs' legendary speech at Stanford University a few years ago but I think the speech is well worth repeating. Whether you be a PC, Mac or no computer user, these are inspirational words and death surely is life's best invention......
