My other photographic passion is sports photography and so it was impossible to resist heading out to Glengorm for 'Cross at the Castle' or, more formally, Round 8 of the Scottish Cyclocross Championship. This was my first attempt at photographing cyclocross and I have total respect for the competitors in this incredibly tough sport. It was a great day out in a fantastic setting. Oh and a great excuse to dust off my favourite lens, the Canon L 70-200mm. Here is a small selection of images from the day. To see more, visit the Islandscape Photography Facebook page.
